Youth in Government is a club open to students who are interested in how our government runs or want to have a hand in the lawmaking process. There is also an opportunity for students to be involved in a model judiciary process in which students role play being lawyers and witnesses in mock trials.
Meetings will start near the beginning of the school year and will meet once a week or more based on the needs of the program.
There will be two conferences in Lansing. A one day conference will be in the fall, and a three day conference will be in the spring. At these conferences, students will have the opportunity to participate in a model government program.
